    Poem Commentary

A dedication to my best friend, no where near as amazing as her poems, i don't even consider this a poem, or a nice piece of literature, but i want her to know. i want her to open her eyes and ears and realize how amazing she is, and how empty the world would be without her.

    She'll Know

There once was a girl who was utterly wrong

Everything she said about herself was a lie

It was as if this girl lived in a world without mirrors

She did not see her true personality

She did not see herself the way the rest of the world saw her

Intelligent, brave, beautiful, funny, optimistic, skilled, and a great best friend

But for some reason this girl, just didn’t see it

She thought she was negative, pessimistic, sucked at everything

To others this girl was like Helen Keller, she could not see the truth,

She could not hear the truth

She lived in a lie created about herself, but this girl, she will soon learn

    She’ll discover the truth

She’ll know how amazing she is

She’ll know what a great gift she is to this world

    She’ll know

    Soon enough, she’ll know.
