She Writes Love Upon My Arms

I've never seen a face like yours, it's true, how could beautiful possibly attempt to describe you?

There are no words fitting enough for how I feel, no emotion enough to be for real, no thoughts sane enough to be surreal.

All I know is when I heard your voice, It touched my skin.

Waves of passion washed me again and again.

Your laugh, it captured me, held me tight, until I dropped to me knees from weakness through pure delight.

I recall that night so clearly, I can barely think of anything else so dearly.

Your words were carefully chosen, I imagined your smile, continuously unbroken.

I was mesmerized as I visualized what it would be like to kiss you, embrace you, to know you....to Love you.

I wanted to bask in the completeness of your grace, feel my fingers upon your face, tiptoe into your heart without a trace.

It was all too good to be true, I was not built to believe that i could be loved by someone like you.

Then you whispered those words so softly, but I was listening intently as I felt you write love upon my arms so gently.

I never felt so alive, like the rising of a tsunami, that's how much you moved me.

Now, I see you everywhere I go, in everything I do, whether I'm sitting by myself or enjoying the waves with my crew.

Your Love is the first and last on my mind, consumes the pain of this daily grind.

I miss you like I've never spent a day without you, but now I can peer into a future in your arms, kisses from your lips when I'm down and maybe a family if I ever come around.

Now, you tell me, How could beautiful possibly attempt to define you?
