Sentiments
Sometimes life gives us lemons, but we fail to make juice
Gives us the tools for the job, yet we fail to make use
We all go through trials and times of dismay
But have friends and family to help along the way
Family we are born with, and thankfully so
Yet good friends are harder to find, as we all know
Friends should be cherished, valued and loved
And showed that they are appreciated using all of the above
I convey these sentiments with someone special in mind
A person that’s goofy, witty and exceptionally kind
I’m glad that I know you and just thought you should know
That your intelligence and beauty make you destined to glow
You’re aimed at success which I know you’ll achieve
And if self-doubt comes along, know I’ll still believe
So in conclusion I’m happy that I have a friend in you
Like Woody told Buzz you’ve got a friend in me too
