SELLING OUT!

SELLING OUT!                                                       BY: MAM

Many people talk about selling out; in the black community we take things as usual to the next level.

Selling out in the black community can get you killed or get you banned from your community!

Who sold us out?

We have gone from the days of being Kings and Queens & now replaced with being called Ho’s and Bithces, Pimps and Ganstas, strippers are our new roll models not Doctors and Lawyer Hell even the President of the United States will make men pull up there pants.

Now who’s selling out!

Calling who sold out our neighborhoods, families, for what the all mighty Dollar Bill!

Wait now I know we don’t own planes to bring it here and there are no gun factories in the HOOD, but if you STOP and think about it, just for a second what if you sold your product in Beverly Hills, Hampton NY, in the most affluent neighborhoods what might happen. Think about it!

I DIDN’T SELL OUT!

I didn’t put that pipe in their hands!

That needle in their arm!

I was not a part of the decay of the black family!

I was not the cause your son or daughter dropping out of school!

I was not there when they OD!

I was not the one who shot up the wrong house!

I am not the cause of over prison crowding!

I AM NOT A SELL OUT!

I did not cause the death of the next Nobel Peace

Prize Winner over land I don't own!

I did not cause the death of you beautiful son or daughter,

because of they were wearing the wrong colors.

They say selling out is bad, therefore you will no longer be welcome in the community! PEOPLE; let’s take a long look around, Hell some just look out your doors!

Can your children play outside in YOUR community!

Can you walk the streets at with no fear in YOUR community!

What is the state YOUR inner city school!

Is YOUR neighborhood you live clean!

Who are YOUR children’s roll MODELS!

Now who sold us out!
