    Self Reliance

    Had yourself believing you were doing good in this life, even thought all was well

    Sitting here waiting on heaven, while time is wasted living in hell

    Living by the commandments, as we heed the false teaches

    Purposes deprecated, as we allay claim to self treason

    Where art the guardian angels, a holy presence unseen but one must remember this, Your family is your back bone and your friends aint shit

    Ways of reasoning, contributions and hardwork seemingly knocked of track, look only to self, forget the world; what favor is there left in that

    Enough to be mad but rather disappointed all the same, nations governments may differ but the lies are all told just the same

    Be wary of the thoughts of you not her, him and him what's to judge then

    We all family, born to the first father and mother of sin

    Life moves forward, some may live as others die, but most don't care it is truly on the Earth that cries;

    RAIN....

    A blessed purification relased from the sky, purposely gathering your attention making you realize that your greatest ally lies deep inside

    When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
