I Can Relate

I don't know how my life came to this

Evidently on the road to fraternizing, and celebration it took an awful twist

And yes like you I ponder such changes, time and time again

Wondering, what evils indeed do lurk in the hearts of so many men

But alas, brave soul weilding the courage to stand

As life questions your worth, your will and value as a man

While you hold the key, to unlocking your own fate

Dear friend, I know, I have been there...I can relate!

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
