Second Thoughts.

Two weeks in I thought I had it all,
Knowing that I was about to fall.

It doesn't seem completly right,
That sooner or later we're supposed to fight.

We remind each other of ones we lost and ones we never had,
The thought that you don't like me for completely me is sad.

I have you in my hands but I'm not sure I want you there,
Are you sure you really care?

So I'll stick around,
Just to see what I've found.

I enjoyed reading it. Continue to share your poetry. Second Thoughts describes a few relationships I've been in as well as how I felt while I was in them. You captured that emotion!! Good job.

In this poem the writer wants to share observations and then makes a statement to the "you", but I find it hard to read, there are some word choice errors, "were" when you must have meant, "we're" . The rhyme comes off sounding childish for such a emotion laden poem.

Very Nice. I enjoyed reading it. It catches you until the end and wrenches you heart. I understand your choice of words clearly. Great job. I look forward to reading more of your poetry

I agree with you. Nice poem. In fact, it describes a few relationships I've been in as well as how I felt. It has the passion of loving someone without truly knowing if the feelings are mutual, but you'd still like to try.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
