    Seasons of Images

    Bubbly blue skies
    a yellow sundress
    the sweet smell of watermelon
    Summer
    crunch of leaves
    yellow, red, orange, brown,
light hooded sweatshirts, orange plump pumpkins and fragrant spices
    campfires, smoke, singing
    Fall
thick Ice, fat snowmen, puffy winter parkas,
the scent of cinnamon ,packages with big bows, parties, scented candles
    wishes
    Winter
Brightly colored tulips, green mossy hillsides full of clover
open-toed sandals, porch swings, flashlight tag
    rain
    Spring

Using the seasons as a punctuation mark. Good style.

suggestion: perhaps stating the season PRIOR to the lines would make it easier to read. I got off track in the 1st stanza, then had to re-read to have it make sense. Keep writing!

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
