    Saying goodbye

Saying goodbye is never easy it's the hardest thing to do but it hurts even more when you have to find yourself to say goodbye to a love one that's alot harder.

Wheni went and saw Delores(my grandma) it didn't even look like her at all. Before i went into her room i thought to myslef that i couldn't see myself doing this today i couldn't picture myself saying goodbye to my grandma at all. But then i went in to her room Aunts,Uncles were in the room with sorrow in thier faces but i took a deep breath and all i could do was burst in to tears. I looked over her you knew that she was hurting and suffering and it was her turn to go, god was calling her name to come home. i held her cold hand and looked into her eyes and i said grandma i love you i do just that moment i thought about all the times we had together how she was the best grandma i ever had and i knew that it was time to say goodbye. Then i finally said it the words i said goodbye grandma so much pain running inside my heart but it was her turn to go. As much as everybody is hurting inside we all know that she's not hurting or suffering anymore. She went peacefully we all loved her so much and it hurts but she's still with here with us but only in our hearts and memories .
we will always love you and remember you.
    Delores Rachel Seymore.

that was a beautiful poem. It was like that when my PawPaw died. He looked so helpless in his bed. At least they aren't suffering anymore

Beautiful and touching. I've lost my Grandmother and Great-Grandmother, but I know that they are in God's Hands. Good job.

If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.

    Emily Dickinson (1830-1886) American poet.
