Rigid Winter
trees reaching for the sky like the gnarling hands of deathand I am feeled with cold hard dread with every single breath
the wind cries with the moaning souls of those who call my name
and I pray they'll fade away in the sounds of pouring rain
darkness falls and memory calls--faces I have known
rigid winter cold December I am all alone
