    if i had a choice
    i'd never leave your side
    but life has other plans
    if i had a choice
    i'd love you all my life
    by the oceans keep us apart
    if i had a say
    i'd tell you my soul
    but the word refuse to come
    the best i can do
    is plead with you
    beg you to remember me!

    "I'd tell you my soul" this sentence is enough for someone to remember you. This sentence is the heart of your poem.
