Reflections
REFLECTIONS 07/09
Covered in a blanket of love
The Lord God follows me
Angels hiding in the clouds above
Things nobody else sees
Near You, my heart stands in my chest
It’s more than a muscle that pumps
It comes alive inside my breast
It speaks to me as it thumps
I am pregnant with Your life
I feel movement inside of my being
You are my husband, I am your wife
Cleave unto me, for to You, I cling
You gave me beautiful tiny treasures
Beauty so unique
Innocent love beyond measure
My daughters, never cease your prayers for me
Protected inside an invisible sphere
Only seen spiritually
Penetrating the natural atmosphere
I can feel it physically
Created by Words You spoke
The Word made flesh, I was manifested
Every stronghold being broke
I grow each time I am tested
Night clouds shaped like a heart
Just because I asked
A new slate a clean start
A new creation, the old has passed
You brought me to this moment in time
Just to be in Your presence
Surrounded in Love, I know You are mine
In the midst of Your essence
A child of sin born into dark
But now adopted through Grace
Forever sealed on my forehead Your mark
In the Book of Life, I have my place
I had done this very young
But You, I did not know
Knowing You, my life has begun
This commitment I need to show
Trembling down the steps I entered the water
With Kira at my side
I watched the baptism of my daughter
With greatfulness, my soul cried
Shaking, although the water warm
I got ready to hold my breath
Baptized by the Trinity as he held my arm
There is indeed life after death
On covenant love I do meditate
Remembering when I made You my choice
Changed forever was my fate
I receive Your love and rejoice
Words of Love whispered in my ear
Such beautiful things You say
A gentle reminder of “I AM HERE”
Softly beckoning, “COME TO ME TO PRAY”
Foreign words my lips speak
Only the Spirit can understand
I find You when my heart seeks
And I fall in love again
