reality

What may just be a message or something we just ignore reality is something thats always knocking at our door. whether we want to really see or we choose to hide and run reality is something thats always knocking at our door. whether we push love aside and let go of all our fears reality is something thats always knocking at our door whether we choose to fall or suceed in our lives reality is always knocking at our door whether we win or loose or gain a life that was lost reality is always knocking at our door. whether we live life abundntly or drift off to sleep reality is always knocking at our door. whether we try to pretend that it didnt matter or it never hurt us at all reality is always knocking at our door. whether we forgot to say goodbye or had a hard life reality is always knocking at our door whether we say were sorry or dont remember to reality is always knocking at our door. whether we lost someone we cared about or wasnt there any more reality is always knocking at our door. whether we ever change as human beings and learn to live with pain its those last moments that we have that reality will knock until we hear those knocks nomore.

Good use of repetition, got a little lost at the beginning without the proper grammar but it got better as I kept reading. The end was a pleasing crescendo! I agree about the realities in life, that they surmount the more we try to ignore them and we will no longer hear that knock once we pass. thanks.

The beauty of this poem is that it sends us a message as much as we run from the real concept of life it actually finally catches up to us. Basically, you capture the smack in the face aspect that as much as we ignore things we need to do it is stil

Oh yes...this leaves a poem thinking at it's mercy. So satisfying. So poignant. I read it twice and could read it again. The last line is just superb!!! So fitting.

Poetry is what gets lost in translation.
