    Poem Commentary

I will need you forever Jeff, as my heart fills with your love every night before I close my eyes.

    Love, Lu

    "Whale Song"

    Alone in the twilight,
at the dock of the bay
    a glittering tear will fall
    softly to say:

"My life is not over yet
I just need one more chance.
    To enlighten my dreams
    with true love and romance."

As I watch the soothing waves
with the wind in my face,
My heart has now shown me
    that this is the place.

    Where a beautiful whale
    sings a comforting song,
    to the colorful horizon
    each new day belongs.

wonderful full of love for more than a whale love unlimited.

Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.

    T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
