"Thee Abused"

Your lover has left you now you want revenge, your thoughts are not thinking and your body starts to cringe. The abuse has stopped and your free and alone, your thoughts are now thinking to pick up the phone. You sit back down together your thoughts, thinking about your lover and all the things you bought. You owned your body and now it feels used, no one else to blame and now your the accused. You feel ashamed with low self-esteem, your lover wants back in, with the same routine. You think about it just for a little while longer, until the voice in your head say that "you are now stronger". One day you awake from this horrible dream, wanting to get back at him with a sexual scheme. He hasn't called, haven't threaten to come by, you are now over him someone else has caught your eye. You make plans to encounter a blind date, your mind is clear of all your lover's hate. You set up a meeting to evaluate this new person, all the while talking to your self, laughing and cursing. Your headed out the door with confidence and faith, meeting this new guy in a cozy, meet and greet place. You arrive on time waiting to be seated, checking your make up, your hair, this is all repeated. Walking to your table you see his strong silhouette, now your nervous contemplating "well what the heck". You look at him from the corner of your eye, you sit down at the table thinking that your gonna die. "It's him, it's my lover and he's mad as hell", he's talking very low but it sounds like a yell. You thought "you were going to leave me, it's not over", turning her face away he grab her by the shoulder. "Who did you expect, someone to take my place"? He pulled her out of the chair and slapped her face. "What were you thinking are love is forever, I'm your blind date who else is this clever". "Your coming home with me with your low self-esteem", fighting and kicking, thinking this is only a dream. They got back to her house, he was getting really mad, he saids "I'm your man that other women wished they had". He falls asleep, she plans her escape, she goes in the bathroom to wash off that horrible rape. "If I don't leave quickly I won't leave at all", so she closes the door quietly, running down the hall. She gets to the door and what does she see?, another silhouette of a man as foolish as he. She cried and cried and started to scream, but all the while it was just another one of her dreams.

Poetry is either something that lives like fire inside you or else it is nothing, an empty formalized bore around which pedants can endlessly drone their notes and explanations.
