    "The God of my soul"

If I were to live in a time such as he, that gallops into castles on a raging steed; I'd wait forever and without alarm, anticipating the feel of his two loving arms. "Please" take my heart and show it great care then make me feel like I'm walking on air. Breathe into me the life that is missing, fufill it my love in dreams while we're kissing. Seduce me eternally, daring and bold and be unto me the God of my soul!

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.

John F. Kennedy (1917-1963) Thirty-fifth President of the USA
