    "School Girl Crush"

Swiss bones, and a breeze, wood floor, gliding free

Cascade, is the place where I laid eyes on HE

“A school girl crush” has found its way to me

My eyes have been fixed for a moment or for three

Songs…for men only, but it’s him that I see

Mesmerized by a thought of possibilities

What he could be like and what he may believe

He exudes a respect in his words and his feet!

Interesting, I’m intrigued, but won’t speak

My mind plays a game of hide and go peek

I’m shy and content just to look every week!

My girl said be bold just smile and go speak

I wont, so she did and my secret has leaked

School girl crush bust wide open confessed

    FINALLY!

Crushes crashes. Whispered wishes. Closed open. Everyone can simply admire, but actions advertise the innermost feelings that you want to deny. I simply enjoy your poem. It gives me a wide smile and a recollection of the past. keep it up.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.
