    "I Wish You Were Here"

The hours turn into days, the days into years.
The memories fall in a haze, the haze the cause of tears.
The feeling of running out of time more eminent with fear.
Nothing like enthusiasm of mine when you were near.
I wish things were running fine, maybe my mind more clear.
Now I must say I no longer want you mine, cuzits off to find the new, to bring me joy and tears.

First time I read your bro. Let me tell ya, you have done a good thing to share this raw, deep talent with us(if he don't give ya a plie-driver for it!LOL) My son is an amazing poet-he wont let Momma share his work either. I am genuinely impressed with this! Nice!-10

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
