Queen of My Heart
Queen of my heartI sit lost in thought this moment
Appreciating the majesty of thine enthronement
Oh! Queen of my heart I plead thee
Pardon this unroyal manner I address thee.
To what shall I compare my love?
More genuine than the likelihood of the stars above,
And to what shall I compare your nobility
Poised to match the uniqueness of your beauty.
I’m hypnotised at your sight
I get this ineffable feeling that enclaves me tight
And at the sound of your voice
My heart jingles, it’s left with no choice.
‘Guess I got a sting from cupid’s arrow
As a peep at you I borrow
Oh! What creativity
That questions my sanity.
It still remains a mystery
The combination that makes up your personality
Combining the royalty of an Amazon
With the innocence of a newly born.
To what shall I compare your persona?
More majestic than Solomon’s own Sheba
And to what shall I compare your beauty
Finer than the Indian Maharani.
Oh! What a beauty you are
My Esther, Deborah and Cinderella
Oh! What fairness at sight,
Fairest of them all, even sow white.
A thousand words cannot express
The feelings of my heart so intense
Long live her royal majesty
The queen of my heart.
