Q & A

Who is the dreamer of the dream?

It is the steed that wins the race

Despite the reins of fear in place

Beating past the winds of doubt

What is the dream that captures me?

Not knowing

With calm acceptance

Intrigued

Over-stimulated

Excited by sheer possibility

Where is the place that I belong?

Curious exploration

Without borders or worries

Foreign tongues

Spontaneous adventures

Uncertainty and Excitement

No thoughts of tomorrow

Content with today

When will my eyes meet the summit?

My climb could take years

The end so high it reaches the heavens

Yet

I forge ahead

Proud of my gains

Looking back over my shoulder

Slips and stumbles coming to mind

But knowing when I make it atop

I will be

Giddy like Columbus or Vespucci

Fulfilled

Never needing to

Reach outwardly for that same feeling

But then again

Maybe the summit is just the beginning….

(Maybe the summit is just the beginning….) - Indeed! A master once asked a young Bruce Lee -what is the greatest technique to learn?- in which Bruce replied -there is no greatest technique- Perhaps growth is only itself. Growth. These are all excellent lines (Not knowing With calm acceptance), (Excited by sheer possibility), (Uncertainty and Excitement), (No thoughts of tomorrow Content with today). A poem that sees the beauty of humbleness. Where pride sees obstacle, humbleness sees opportunity. Enjoyed the read. Sometimes the journey is more rewarding than the destination.

Very nice. The struggle, always the struggle. Then the struggle once more - and again. LIFE!
