    Pressure

Tonight inside of me a beast was shown,
a part of me before I had never known.
I never knew that I was capable of such violence.
Forever I will hear his screams in dead silence.
It started as a fight just to teach a lesson,
then I saw red from his robbery confession.
I only wish that I could rewind time,
when I left the house I would have left the nine.
I felt nothing only numb as I pulled the Glock,
an out of body experience, I could only witness in shock.
After two shots the evil deed was done.
Tonight I took the life of a mother's son.
Such a sickening feeling as I dragged him to the trunk.
Over the bridge, his body hit the water with a sickening thunk!
To be honest I haven't slept much since,
for I know retaliation will be my consequence.
I will allow the chips to fall where they may.
I issued my own death warrant that fateful day.
Fuck you kill me then I may see some peace.
It's the only way that this war will ever cease.

Good job man.. Check mines out

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

    Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
