Life's Sentence
Inexplicibly lost though surrounded by sites of which are familiar to me.
Only a shadow of my life though they share similarities.
Foresaken by all who i once endeared an unwaveringly trusted.
Curiously I wonder which of my actions set upon me this injustice.
Unrelenting sorrow has aged me beyond my youthful years,
my spirit agonizingly weeping though I shed no tears.
Overwhelmingly intruded by utter despair.
I have searched my soul for answers but they are evasive and never there.
I only pray that my desperation is realized before my darkest hour.
Spiraling out of control by compulsions now out of my power.
The weight of the world, obviously too much to bare.
I only hope that in eternity I may find peace there.
I have dropped to my knees and begged for repentance,
for this is my failure, this life, and death is my sentence.
