    Preservation

Hence before has this path been tested
    This relentless scourge, unrepentant liberalism

tis' the worm that bites at our core
our morals begot, selfishness and greed
an unwilling to fight, to lead our righteous steed

where art thine "gung ho" mentality?
    lost in our older breed?

our complaisant thoughts of life to be
are not in right, tis' warning to heed

    rediscover our glorious thought
    in which to defend
many have died and many have fought

so this beauty in cause, such as men have backed
for what? lest we break this pact?

due give liberals the power to act?
No, owed not the debt to these less men
Americans, true and through raise your fists and fight again

breakdown these walls of sick in woe
that built up by the wrong, our foe

this conflict is internal as a cancerous nature
fight for god, preserve our lands,
and return America to the previous stature...

AMEN BROTHER!!!! Awesome Job! You hit this one on the head. Thanks for sharing! Ken

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
