Biography
I really enjoy writing poetry but not as much as writing screenplays for my favorite hobby....shortfilms. I've been creative in writing and visual arts since I was very young. I am now 43 and living in the great Smoky Mountains. I still dabble in poetry and photography, but really good movies and creating my own films are my real loves. Although I only wrote poetry occasionally, I went through a phase of writing more often after my younger sister and only sibling was tragically taken from us in a car accident. She was 22 years old and although it happened in 1992, there isn't a day that goes by I don't think of her in some way. I miss her dearly. I moved to east Tn. and the Smokies to get out of the steady decline of Memphis and all the riff-raff that was there. It's both beautiful and awe inspiring here and I truly feel closer to God than I've ever felt before since arriving in Alcoa 7 years ago. I highly recommend visiting if you haven't already. I married my longtime sweetheart Sarah a little over two years ago and although she's my second attempt at marriage, I feel certain in my heart she will be my one and only for the rest of my life. We both have children, Sarah has a son, Collin, 24 and we get along wonderfully. As for me I have bookends, my son Zachary, 22 and my daughter Lindsay, 19. Both are from my first marriage and are my greatest, most beautiful creations. I'm so happy my life has leveled out finally and I'm content with everything around me.
