My name is Steve.
I am a teacher, because of a teacher, i am a poet because of that same teacher. I love life, and the sound of words on paper..

I wrote my first poem while serving in Vietnam - 1965,
It won't win any awards, but is from the heart.

I began writing regularly in 1979, with my students, and have been writing ever since.

I wish to thank all who took time to read my poetry.
We, writers of the verse, are soul mates.

Polishprince - a tag i got from my students - and then gave me so much more, for the last 40 years!
