I was born in Africa on October 4th 1989 to the strongest black woman that i know named Peggy and my Father Wally. They split up when i was a few months. I started writing Poetry when i was only seven and to me Poetry was like a new form of language. I fell in love with writing and literature. I was a top speller at my private school. In 2001 my mother, brother, and i moved to America for a better future. My freshmen year i got a Scholarship to any College that i wanted to go to. Only five students in the State of Georgia got that opportunity and i was one of the lucky ones. Unfortunately following the wrong paths i lost my scholarship and thats when my eyes opened up. I never knew how fortunate i was in my life until i really opened up my eyes. Later on i was selected for my poem to be in International Poet's Edition. I could have had the opportunity to be on Brave New Voices but at the time i did not have the money for it as all is in God's will. Poetry is my life, my escape, my voice, Poetry is ME. It is the greatest story ever told. Currently i have a book coming out it is being published but we have not set a date yet so stay tuned and i will let you guys know!
