    Outside our shells

    Outside our shells
    We will survive.
    With a little crack.
we came out of our dying shells
chipping to them for their redolent act.
We could perceive evil around us.
    We will survive.

    We have come
    in our naivety an ignorance
to face the ratty deceitful Hawk
    and lay it to rest.

    The war gong jingles
and cock a doodle says our father.
    The survivals will learn
    from bitter experiences and stigmas.
    We must survive.

    Blood will flow.
    Scarlet river will wander
    but we shall turn out
    as clean as a dove.
    We must survive
and be cock a hoop about it.

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.

Aristotle (384 BC-322 BC) Greek philosopher.
