    despair

I wish I could shed tears,
    they'll wash my pains.
I wish i could scream aloud,
    it'll clear my heart.

    I wish I could punch a a bag,
I'll let out the strength of
the strong fury waging in me.
I wish I could just sink'
    to show how depressed I'm.

    Nothing can be equal
    to what i feel within.
    who will help me out.
    who will hear my cry.

    All i can do now,
    my friends say to me,
is pick up my Holy Book
    and immerse myself
    in it soothing words.
then will I gain my peace.

    How could I have forgotten
    my guiding Holy Book'
    that has seen me through
    cloudy days before.
that's my only hope I know.

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.

Aristotle (384 BC-322 BC) Greek philosopher.
