Our Soldiers
Our soldiers lift there lonely heads and cry
Wondering if today they'll die.
Fighting for our wrongs and rights
Others don't understand thier plights.
As they lay in foxholes all day there,
The sun is hot scorching their hair.
They think of all the people at home
But yet they listen for the enemy to roam.
The air is now filled with smoke so thick!
The bombing has started, our soldiers run quick!
The fear has gripped thier every soul,
They never thought this war would go!
The noise, the screaming, the crying of war,
With death all around them, they wonder why for?
The killing of children, the fear of Hussein,
If he comes out a hero will it happen again?
What if we decided not to have this war?
What if we decided why fight, what for?
I'll tell you my children, our freedoms at risk
Would you like them to rule us like this?
Would you like them to rule us and do what they said
And if you speak out you'd surely be dead?
Would you like them to take all our children away
And you'd never see them again untill this day.
So before all the protesting from your minds score,
Remember our freedom and what the flags for.
Give our children what they have today
And never let anyone take our freedom away.
So pray for our soldiers, keep your heart right,
For without them out there, we couldn't win the fight.
So let's stand up for the red, white, and blue
For our fathers fought hard for our freedom too!
Give our soldiers your prayers for this is in their need.
Be proud of our country, our flag and to be free.
Be proud to be an american and hold your head high.
For without our freedom we would all surely die.
Wondering if today they'll die.
Fighting for our wrongs and rights
Others don't understand thier plights.
As they lay in foxholes all day there,
