Even though we are miles apart,
Our hearts and our love will never part.
You came into my life as a friend,
And some how we became lovers.

But the good lord made it out to be this way.
I never thought i would go this early,
But there was a reason why i got this illness.
This illness came upon me without any warning,
Then it took over the rest of my life
You helped me get through some of my hardest days and nights
You stood by me through all my pain and sufferring
You were so brave my love.
