    On my own

    See all those people on the ground, waisting time
    I try to hold it all inside, just for tonight.
    On top of the world, I'm sitting here wishing the things I've become,
    but something is missing;
    Mabe I....
    But what do I know?

    And now it seems that I have found,
    nothing at all.
    I want to hear your voice outloud,
    Slow it down;slow it down.

    Without it all,
    I'm choking on nothing
    It's clear in my head,
    I'm screaming for something.
    Knowing nothing is better than knowing at all.

    On my own.

    When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
