Old Christian Lady
The old lady
Looks at me
From a distance
Looks away
Shakes her head
"What have I done."
I said
Beside my eyes
Are wide in bed
She says:
"My church is a spider web."
Spirits of spite
Sniper targets the other side
Other man of peace
And musical harmony
It's so hard to see
What's right is wrong
I sometimes sing from psalms
The judge
The member of the christian church
Looks at me
From a distance
Looks away
Shakes her head
"What have I done."
I said
Beside my eyes
Are wide in bed
She says:
"My church is a spider web."
Spirits of spite
Sniper targets the other side
Other man of peace
And musical harmony
It's so hard to see
What's right is wrong
I sometimes sing from psalms
The judge
The member of the christian church
