Poem Commentary

A poem about how you feel when a friend turns on you and then makes it your fault.

Oh Well

Don't come running to me when your left in pieces,
It's not my responsibility to help you anymore.
You made your choice now stick to it.
As I said it's not down to me to piece you back together.
You can blame it on me all you want, it's not my fault your blind.
You were the one who turned away,
It's not my problem now when you get hurt.
All I ever wanted was for you to understand.
But all you ever did was turn it all around, to somehow be my fault,
But Oh Well.
As I said don't come running to me when your left in pieces, it's not my responsibility to help you anymore, it's not down to me to piece you back together, it's not my problem now when you get hurt.
You were the one who turned away but like i said Oh Well.

I do like this. I like what you have to say however I do think some things don't need to be repeated so much. But, all in all it speaks well of the hurt the author feels.

thank you ill take that into consideration next time i write

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
