    Ode to Carmen

Caressing my thoughts, undressing my mind,
peek into my heart, there you will find

an ever-present and joyous effervescence of stimuli,
that can only be created with the mixture of you and I

My breath has been arrested, shackled and taken away,
with one look in your eyes, since the very first day

Enamoured by your glamour, grace and naughty smile,
falling deeper and closer to you all the while

Electrify me!, I'll do the same in return
Im yours for the taking, that much you have earned
