    Now That I Found You

How can I believe that my heart could
find someone like you, you see the real me
no in betweens I had no where to hide you took
away the walls around me made me feel
safe to share all the tears I shed and pain
    I felt

I see the heavens open a heart that once was
    broken is holding nothing back
    now that I found you
you hold me like a prayer
    you touch me everywhere
    a lifetime just isn't enough
     since I found you

I Belive we're meant to be
our chemistry will last forever an
all through the years we'll see some
tears we'll conqure all the fears

    Looking in your eyes
they tell me I no longer
have to be alone now that
    I found you

Beautiful, princess0809! I close my eyes with 'now that I found you'.....how many people does that fit? Now that I found you...neighbor...friend....loved ones in family...now that I found you. Once upon a time there was a song: " Once you have found her, never ever let her go!" That is not just for romantic relationships, of course. :) Your heart here sings of love mate--and that's wonderful!

yes i wrote that when my husband and i were dating and now we are happily married for three yrs now with three beautyful girls

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
