    i wonder how many truly feel this way??
    i wish i knew how to change it..

    NO PEACE

     NO PEACE

    There is no peace
    On the path I forged
    In past and dust and rain

    There is no peace
    From the path I walked
    In past in fear in pain

    There is no hope
    In the life I lived
    In thoughtless selfish ways

    There is no faith
    I have to give
    Regret does rule the day

    There is no peace
    In the love I’ve found
    For I cannot love myself

    There is no peace
    Within my soul
    For I am an empty shell

    Something empty can always be filled. Search for the light, even shadows are cast by the light. Search out Petra, the Road to Zion, it's a cool song and it helped me to realize that even when things were bad, when I found myself surrounded by shadows, there was hope, knowing they were cast by the Light.

    i haven't even looked up and heard the song yet and i am already tearing up.. aaahhhhhh the joys of being hormonally imbalanced on a tilted earth! (rotating nonetheless! thank goodness! i don't think i could handle the impact if it stopped!;~}!)

    When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
