    Never Want to Lose You

I can feel the movement of your body.
As we danced across the floor.
    You held my body close.
Whispered "Your What I have been searching for.
When we touch your eye's sparkle like diamonds.

When our body's touch it's like lighting.
    Sparks flashing,flying everywhere.
Lost in a world of our own.
    Swaying,moving ever so slow.
    The light's turned down low.

    Closely together we danced.
    As the music played softly.
Gently I kissed your soft lips.
    Whispering words so sincere.

    "Can I Keep You"
    Our bodies filled with desire.
    To love one another.
Oh Darlin Dear what shall we do.
For I never want to lose you.

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

    Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
