Your heart’s desires,

Although a riddle.

Never try to comprehend

The art of life

Or make demands.

Never try to fly too high,

But above all, fear not that flight.

Never bow before a fight

Or be scared of that too high.

Never bother to look down the road,

But look back, how far you’ve come.

Water never sits too long,

The storm’s in hot pursuit,

Even Earth’s hard rock is not immune,

Earthquakes await to trouble soon.

Hours will pass

And lives go by;

Wings are cut

And wounds thrown salt.

Water rocks the lovely boat,

Insistent to defeat.

Ups and downs will always be,

The way to deal will set you free.

But, as always…

Never try to force repair

That which only time will tell.

Never try to just wait,

Keep on ahead and challenge fate.

Never try to give up hope.

The hill is steep but can’t go long.

Never wait for life to pass,

And never try to just survive.

Be the change you need to happen,

Don’t ask of others what just you have.

Never try to bee too tough,

Crying does its wonders for the soul.

Never try to be an island,

Never try to be a pest.

But, above all,

And this is best…

Try to enjoy.

Life’s not a test.
