    Native American Warriors…

Courageous men and women of many different faces

    Representing many different Nations.

    Native American Warriors…

    Still standing despite enduring oppression…

assimilation… and centuries of Ethnic Extermination.

    Native American Warriors…

Who represent the fighting Spirit of Ancestors

from Little Turtle to Chief Joseph

    to Geronimo and Crazy Horse.

    Native American Warriors…

Who go bravely into battle without hesitation

    or Reservations.

    Native American Warriors…

    Native American Veterans…

    Native America’s Fallen Warriors.

We the People of Native America

    Respect your Courage…

    And Honor your Sacrifice.

Hau Sewasa... I thank you for your words... all 546 tribal leaders were given invites and I have sent word to our Tribal President as the Dakotah/Lakotah/Nakotah have many issues to address with the Great Black Father. I pray that the Great Mystery moves his heart to do what he knows is right by the Original People of this land... and more importantly in the eyes of Creator. Be well my new friend. Dok Sha'(means see you later there is no word for goodbye in Dakotah) Sewasa

To have great poets there must be great audiences too.
