My wish this Christmas season
Is for you and your family,
To hold onto memories past
And let new ones enter free.
At this time of year
When things are very hard,
Seek solace in the Prayer Garden
Out in your backyard.
All the hurt and pain
Still seems so very new,
Let family, friends and prayers
Help to see you through.
Reminisce on memories past
That made you smile each day,
Knowing full well your child
Would want it that way.
Your child may be
Physically out of your sight,
But he remains in your hearts,
Everyday and every night.
So gather together
This Christmas season with cheer,
Sharing the joy, peace and love,
With those whom you hold dear.
I pray for the Lord to bring
Peace to your heart.
For through the power of prayer,
You and your loved ones are never far apart.
I pray you and your family
Gather together with friends,
To remember the message the Lord,
Through his son, Jesus Christ, sends.
May your memories be many
And your burdens be few,
For the Lord Jesus Christ
Was sent to bear this pain for you.
Gather with family and friends
And raise high your cup,
Allow the past, present and future
To lift your spirits up.
