    My Regrets

    I have regrets
    Like others do
    Though I have many
    And they have few.

    My heart breaks , everyday
    For two of my children
    Live so far away.

    The oldest , a girl
    Is only 17.
    Shes my sweet Angel
    My heart's queen.

    She lives with my parents
    So Far away.
I wish she was with me
    Each & everyday.

    She talks to me everyday
    This true
But it still warms my heart
To hear her say "I love you."

    The youngest ,a boy
    Just turned nine,
    He just found out
    That hes really mine.

    He was adopted
    At six months old.
    I am his sister
    Is what he was told.

    His name is Corey.
    Hes such a cutie pie.
    I wish he was here
    I won t lie.

    Nolt having them with me
    Is my biggest regret.
    They have forgiven me
    But I havent ,yet.

awww . . . . this poem is so sweet and sad . . . the ending is what makes it so good .. . . . keep writing

Poetry is either something that lives like fire inside you or else it is nothing, an empty formalized bore around which pedants can endlessly drone their notes and explanations.
