    My Promise

I loved you enough to give up my life.
You said you loved me then made me your wife.
I said i'd never hurt you or give any pain.
You looked me in my eyes and promised me the same.
You promised me the moon and every star.
Then you up and left me, with out even a clue of where you are.
I convinced my self that it was for the best.
Only listening to the good things and pushing aside the rest.
I wanted what you said to be true.
that in the end it as only going to be me and you.
But as each day goes bye, I'm realizing that the biggest promise you made me was actually the biggest lie.
But should you choose to realize what you had.
I'll keep MY promise and stick with you through good and bad.

    good one..

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
