    MY NEIGHBOR PIPER DIED

    MY NEIGHBOR PIPER DIED
    Impoverished recognition, casting shadow webbed
Nets perfection, future peaks, dreams, visions, wedding bells
    understanding stolid stream, resiliency unknown
Under scarves of colored tint, masquerades of dust have grown
Sponged drought, decaying clouds, memo remanding roots
Desert winds, molding dunes, buried deep beneath debris
Ashes burned, bottled urn, covered marble mosque
Vanity detailed sovereignty, embraced files of cost and lost
Humanity emptied, a silent mold, shifted journeyed end
Extracted passages engulfed the soul, and life begins again!
