My jewel
MY JEWEL
My jewel of inestimable value
A day is not spent without thoughts of you
When two love birds meet
They prepare to knit and weave
The unbreakable nest of love
To nurture and cradle
The wonderful nestlings
With the food of the creator
The land and rivers may separate us
Yet the two hearts beat as one
If only
You can hear the deafening whispers of my heart
Whispering this song of love
The sun has heard
The moon eavesdropped and gossiped to the stars
Taking turns
To spy on my precious jewel
If only money could buy love
I will sell my gold
Not so , not so
More precious than the diamond mines in South Africa
Than the oil wells of Bahrain
My priceless jewel
Only love will buy love
Give me the slate of your heart
I will paint
With strawberry and passion
My jewel of inestimable value
A day is not spent without thoughts of you
When two love birds meet
They prepare to knit and weave
The unbreakable nest of love
To nurture and cradle
The wonderful nestlings
With the food of the creator
The land and rivers may separate us
Yet the two hearts beat as one
If only
You can hear the deafening whispers of my heart
Whispering this song of love
The sun has heard
The moon eavesdropped and gossiped to the stars
Taking turns
To spy on my precious jewel
If only money could buy love
I will sell my gold
Not so , not so
More precious than the diamond mines in South Africa
Than the oil wells of Bahrain
My priceless jewel
Only love will buy love
Give me the slate of your heart
I will paint
With strawberry and passion
