    My Future

There was a time I couldn't see myself with a future, was spending to much time living in my past, allowing myself to get caught up in a persons opinion of me, who I should be, how I should look, how I should act loving others so hard who never returned the love back.

My self-image shattered the essence of me lost, living life in limbo trying to answer the unanswered questions, wondering if there was a purpose to my life besides living in this deep dark existence.

I looked deep inside of myself and realized I had to make a change, no more letting anyone rob me of my joy, no more living day to day in pain. My past is a reflection of the person I was, but my strength through endurance has allowed me to see the great person I will become.

U r a great writer keep it up!

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
