My Eyes Choose
My eyes choose to see the sunriseWithout it's thunder cloud.
I see the promise, instead of the cries
I refuse to be proud.
My eyes choose to find beauty
Instead of the loss all around me
There is one way to be free
It's by choosing what you see.
My eyes choose to love nature
I remain grateful for the beauty I find
Knowing it will always surpass my stature
Every time I look out the door of my mind.
Ofcourse, you can choose to speak
Myriad points on loss
But does it bring you what you seek?
When all was gained on the Cross.
My eyes choose to fly free
To bask in the Joy of each scene
This side of the fence, I see
The grass is a beautiful green.
My eyes choose to see the Love
Quickly closed to evil's lies
Because we alone can choose
What we believe with our eyes.
