    Mute

Sometimes it’s not so bad, Sometimes.
Pictures flashing one, two, three, so many.
Sleep and dream, of her? No, Just Sleep.
Wake and think of her? Yes. No, Just Wake.
    Write her? Yes, Please Write.
Expect a reply from her? Yes, always expect.
    Get her? No, never get.
    She could be . . . Yes, couldn’t she?
It hurts so bad so very bad it.
Ending this, and so, thus Ending.
    Silence is not, golden, Silence.
Break This! Yes! No, this won’t Break.
Wait till morning, noon or night, Just Wait.
Over time, this bad flash ending in silence will be over.

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.

Aristotle (384 BC-322 BC) Greek philosopher.
