    Goose

The tingling sensation that runs up my arms
At the thought of your face that always charms
Continues down my spine and through to my toes
All I want is to kiss your nose!

I’m in too deep and lost in time
Each stroke of my pen begets rhyme after rhyme

Stay with me through all the easy times
And through the hard I’ll continue these lines
I’ll always be there, just call my name
And rise above the treacherous game

Find the beauty in negative spaces
That beauty you see is our two faces

The pitter patter of little feet
Always makes my heart skip a beat
Little tow-headed beauty, just like her mother
Never ever shall I look this way at another

From the days of running in circles, counting duck, duck, goose!
And faithfully reading tales from Mother Goose

I knew that it would be nice to know you.
The love in your eyes provided the clue.
So now, with each hair standing on end
I dream of the day when the loneliness will end
Despite all the odds, I’m still willing to begin
And get all of those bumps, up on my skin
