Missing
Why is it that I continue to give when they only take
Offer support and advice in times of need
But when I need it there is always nothing
Despair grips my soul as pain grips my heart
Can’t they find it in their heart to ask
How are you? Why are you so sad?
Can I find it in my heart to answer truthfully
I’ve hid my feeling so long my lie would be automatic
I don’t know how to say I feel used, unappreciated, like an entertainment
A maid, servant, counselor and means to an end
I don’t feel like a sister, daughter, lover or friend
I’m just here to make everyone else’s life a little bit easier
When I’m sad who’s there to make me smile
When I cry who wipes the tears from my eyes
When I give up who makes me be strong
Nobody
Nobody
