Misconceptions

Misconceptions

Hearts entwined forever more
How can we make it right?

Misconceptions from the start
is why we're so uptight

Never knowing ~ assuming much
Certainly not a good start

Mind is blank from such confusion
Can it ever work?

Tears consuming every part of me
wondering what went wrong

Mistrust never makes a Bond
We owe each other more

Will you ever see the real me?

I'll wonder forever more

If the other would only see us as we see us. And sometimes they do. Nice desperate thoughts, and familiar to all.

Thank you again for your words of affirmation......

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.

Aristotle (384 BC-322 BC) Greek philosopher.
